For Rikka Fika’s very first apparel, we wanted to feature something special. When considering apparel partners that shares our commitment to sustainability and intentionality, Industry of All Nations immediately came to mind.

Founded with the commitment to rethink ethical fashion, Industry of All Nations (IOAN) is dedicated to bringing productions back to the original makers, through the implementation of indigenous or new responsible manufacturing techniques, local to each area around the world.

This particular shirt uses upcycled fabrics produced by IOAN’s partner, The New Denim Project, who collects pre-consumer textile waste from mills and grinds these scraps back into new fibers, using minimal water and involves no bleaching, dyeing, or harmful washes, and free of synthetic fibers ensures the shirt remains 100% natural and biodegradable.

Using a closed-loop system, even the waste from the upcycling process is later composted to grow specialty coffee in the highlands of Guatemala. To further honor this effort, every purchase of this shirt will include a complimentary sample pack of coffee from Finca San Jeronimo Miramar — the same farm that uses the compost from this shirt. This initiative highlights our philosophy of proceeding with intention and recognizing the interconnected aspects of all that we do.

—

Apparel sales are final - we’re currently unable to accommodate return or exchange of apparels. For detailed sizing information, please refer to
